Man extradited to Czech Republic for Fraud and Money Laundering

A 43 year old man was extradited from Northern Ireland to the Czech Republic on Wednesday 16 November to serve a prison sentence for fraud and money laundering.

He was initially arrested on Sunday 4 September after arriving on a flight to Belfast City Airport. He was arrested on foot of a European Arrest Warrant issued by authorities in the Czech Republic.

His extradition was ordered on Wednesday 2 November at Belfast Extradition Court. He was held on remand from the time of his arrest until his extradition.
