Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of 50 year old Gavin McGimpsey.

Inspector Francey said: “Gavin was last seen in near the Bowling Green, Newtownards Town Centre on Thursday 23rd January between 9:30am and 11am. He is described as having long, dark hair, a beard and wearing a dark coloured coat. Gavin is known to spend time in the Grovefield Place area of Belfast.

“We are appealing for Gavin to make contact with police or if anyone knows of Gavin’s whereabouts please contact police in Newtownards on 101, quoting reference number 685 23/01/20.”
