Detectives from the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team, investigating the murder of 50-year-old Paul Smyth in Lisburn in June 2019, have charged a 37-year-old man with encouraging or assisting offences believing one or more will be committed.
He is due to appear before Lisburn Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 28 May.
As is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
