Police charge man with multiple offences

Detectives in Musgrave have charged a 30-year-old man with a number of offences including rioting, throwing a petrol bomb, attempted grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of Class C controlled substance

He is due to appear in Belfast Magistrates Court this morning (13 April 2021).

The following offences are in connection with disorder on North Queen Street on Friday 9 April.

As is usual procedure the charge will be reviewed by the PPS.
