Police have seized suspected Class A drugs during a search in the Dundonald area on Saturday (7th March).

The drugs, with an estimated street value of £1,500, were seized during a search of two vehicles in the OId Dundonald Road area.

A number of other drugs-related paraphernalia were also seized.

Four males – all aged 17 – were arrested on suspicion of a number of offences, including possession of a Class A controlled drug.

All four have since been released from custody, pending further enquiries.

Sergeant Kevin Hawkins said: “We are fully committed to tackling the scourge of drugs in our communities, and we will continue to proactively investigate and carry out searches linked to the drugs trade.

“I would appeal to anyone who can help us identify suspects or lines of enquiry to call the non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.”
