Mr Robin Swann, the North Antrim Ulster Unionist Party Assemblyman and member of the Stormont Public Accounts Committee, has praised “the outstanding achievement of organisers from Cullybackey, Ahoghill and Ballymena who made it a triple triumph in the latest Ulster in Bloom awards”.
Assemblyman Swann, who is UUP Chief Whip and North Antrim UUP Chairman, also sent his “warmest congratulations to all those involved, especially the local volunteers from these areas who have brought tremendous credit to their communities”.
Cullybackey collected the Best Large Village Award and Most Improved; Best Small Town went to Ahoghill, and Ballymena achieved the Best Large Town Award.
Mr Swann added: “North Antrim has an impressive record in these awards, and once again, folks from the constituency have brought us honours in this prestigious competition. They are truly beacons of success.”
