Teenager charged with attempted murder and other offences

Detectives investigating an assault at an address on the Antrim Road in north Belfast this morning, 13 May, have charged a 17-year-old male.

He is charged with attempted murder, aggravated burglary and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence, and is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (14 May).

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
