A 64-year-old woman appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday accused of a shoplifting spree in the town.
Tilly Peeples, of Coronation Villas in Upperlands, is alleged to have taken items on March 9 this year.
She is accused of taking items from Dunnes Stores, Peacocks, Marks & Spencer; Primark; Cameron’s; Poundland, TK Maxx and Boots.
Goods allegedly taken included clothing, toys, cosmetics, sweets and a notebook.
The total value of the goods was almost £260.
A police officer said he believed he could connect the defendant to the charges.
The case was adjourned to May 9 and the defendant was given bail of £500 with a condition barring her from Ballymena except for attending court.
