Woman charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon

Detectives from Police Service NI Major Investigation Team (MIT) have charged a 41 year woman with murder and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.

She is due to appear at Londonderry Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday 10th June, via video link.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

These charges are in relation to the death of 46 year old Darren McNally at a house in the New Buildings area of Derry/Londonderry on Monday 8 June.
