Two males aged 18 and 19 have been arrested after fireworks were thrown at caravans and homes in Portrush and Coleraine.
It was reported to police on Sunday (14th November) that a grey Seat Leon had been seen at the scene of four incidents of firework throwing in the district.
One at a caravan park and then at three addresses in the Portrush and Coleraine areas.
Following a pursuit, police stopped the car and the 19-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, harassment and throwing a firework. A 18-year-old passenger was arrested on suspicion of throwing a firework.
The two remain in police custody at this time.
It is understood that the driver of the vehicle is believed to be a volunteer with St John Ambulance in Coleraine.
