Proposals have been put forward for a Tim Hortons restaurant at the site of the former Frankie and Benny's Restaurant on the Larne Link Road, Ballymena.
The applicant Carngore Properties Ltd has proposed altercations to the former restaurant.
The proposal will involve the demolition of the northern and southern portion of the Frankie & Benny unit to create a drive-thru service lane. The altercations to the existing elevations involve the installation of Tim Horton's design finishes on the facades, glazing, new entrance door, replace existing emergency exit, projecting portal around collection window, along with making good works to existing elements.
The application will come before Mid & East Antrim planning commitee within the next few months.
A spokesperson for Tim Hortons UK and Ireland said: "At this time we are unable to comment about the site in Larne Road Link in Ballymena."
If successful, it would be the Canadian coffee chain’s first premises in the Borough.
