Toilet facility at Lansdowne Crescent “is deemed surplus to the service area’s needs”

The toilet facility at Lansdowne Crescent in Portrush “is deemed surplus to the service area’s needs” according to a report presented to Councillors next week.

The toilet facility is part of the Old Lifeboat Shelter, now occupied by a café and restaurant business.

The report says a new toilet facility will form part of the nearby redeveloped Portrush Recreation Grounds at Ramore Head. Included in this facility will be changing Places accessible toilet.

Concluding the report reads, “Due to the close proximity of the two toilet facilities, it is deemed the toilet facility at the Old Lifeboat Shelter will be surplus to requirements.”
