EasyJet cancelled a number of flights from Belfast International Airport today in what is understood to be due to staff shortages.
Outbound flights to London Gatwick, Bristol and Faro were among flights cancelled throughout the day.
A notice informing customers of their flight cancellation read : "We’re sorry that your flight has been cancelled.
This is due to earlier disruption your flight resulting in the crew reaching their maximum legal working hours. This means we had no option but to cancel your flight.
There are strict industry wide rules on the number of hours the crew are allowed to work. To protect the safety of our customers and crew these cannot be exceeded."
