Tremor from Scottish earthquake felt in Ballycastle

Parts of western Scotland were rocked by an earthquake early Tuesday morning with the effects felt in Ballycastle.

A 3.1 magnitude tremor was measured at around 1:45am, 17km NW of Lochgilphead and Argyll.

The USGS reported that there have been over 39 earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 or greater across the world in just one day!
