Coleraine town centre and surrounding roads came to a standstill this morning following overnight roadworks.
MLA Maurice Bradley said "Work took place on the Lodge Road Roundabout overnight.
"The cones should have been removed early this morning, but were not."
The MLA went on to say "It is understood road closure was required for road crossing for new traffic signals.
"I have contacted DFI this morning and the cones will be removed shortly. Unfortunately, these schemes are managed by a road traffic management company. It is not always possible to get in contact with them direct, but I would like to thank staff at the County Hall for their prompt reply and action."
