Officers from Coleraine Neighbourhood Policing Team were conducting rural patrols in the area of Cloughmills this morning when they detected an unlicensed and uninsured driver.
A PSNI spokesperson said "Following a short pursuit the vehicle was stopped and driver detained. Thankfully nobody involved or any member of the public was injured.
"The driver will now face a day in court for a number of motoring offences."
