Woman thanks public who offered assistance after wheelchair toppled

Caroline Dorsett from Portrush has offered her thanks to members of the public who came to her assistance after her electric wheelchair toppled over in the Glenvale Crescent of Portrush on the 19th December 2021.

Speaking to Causeway Coast Community she said "Please express my grateful thanks and appreciation to everyone who stopped and offered assistance to me when my electric wheelchair toppled over in Portrush.

"I have a broken arm which, although very painful, could have been worse but for those people who were kind enough to stop and stay with me until the ambulance arrived. I would also wish to thank both the ambulance service and the staff at A&E for looking after me too."

Caroline has also extended her appreciation to her carers who have called each morning and evening over the Christmas period.
